I've been teaching since 1972 when Mrs. Madigan, my first grade teacher, gave me the responsibility leading one of the reading groups. I was the kind of kid who needed responsibilities.
I get to spend my time with some incredible teenagers. We read, we write, we talk, we share, we create. I love teaching. Everyday is an adventure and I'm lucky to have gotten a seat up front close to the action.
