I have worked as a teacher in four districts (West Vancouver, New Westminster, Mission and Burnaby) teaching secondary math and science (including Biology 11 and 12). I graduated from UBC with an honours B.Sc. in 1992, SFU with a PDP diploma in 1994, and UBC with a M.Ed. in 2004.
I am currently the president of the BCASCD, an affiliate of the ASCD, and an executive member of the BCAMT (math PSA).
I am interested in how new technologies can improve student learning and teacher learning through the creation of online, collaborative communities.
