Currently, I am currently a fourth grade teacher in Covina-Valley USD. This fall will mark the beginning of my 8th year of teaching. I serve as a district technology coach and and lead the site tech team on my campus to help teachers successfully integrate technology into the curriculum.
My recent presentations include: Going Wild with Weebly (CUE 2012), Going Green with iMovie (CUE 2011), QR Codes in the Classroom in Nashville, TN via Skype, and at the 21st Century Learners Symposium. You can find all my presentations here.
I currently sit on the San Gabriel Valley CUE (SGVCUE) board that is an affiliate of Computer Using Educators, Inc.
My educational background consists of a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and a Masters of Arts in Educational Technology and Learning both from Azusa Pacific University.
Over the years my students have won several LACOE Digital Voice Awards, including the Best Overall Elementary projects for 2010 and 2011.
My passion is teaching technology to students of all ages and showing them how to apply it to their learning.
I consult with companies on how to best integrate emerging technologies into their daily workflow.
I spend a lot of time on Twitter, keeping up with the latest in Educational Technology along with my personal hobby, photography.
I am married to my wonderful wife Brenda and a toddler techie at home.
