I have taught since 2000 in 2 states, and in urban, rural, and suburban settings.
I love to dance. When I was in Florida, I especially loved salsa.
I have 2 cats: Calypso and Annabelle. One I inherited, the other I saved from the ASPCA.
I have a master’s degree specializing in curriculum and instruction.
I am married to a networking engineer (aka computer nerd) whom I adore.
I have taught every grade level from PreK to 8th grade in some form or another.
I have been accepted to speak at local state, and national level teaching conferences.
At one point while I was teaching 3rd grade, I may have had such an organized classroom that I couldn’t find much of anything for my parent volunteers to do. PS = that’s a good problem to have!
My house, much like my classroom, may not be dust-free, but everything does have it’s place. And I can’t go to bed if it is not straightened up.
