Hi! My name is Karen Bolotin and I teach art in a Chicago Public school devoted to helping students with special behavioral, emotional and educational needs. I also teach reading/writing for 90 minutes a day as well as running several different clubs; poetry, girl’s group, drawing, student literary magazine etc, that may change from year to year. I have been teaching at my school since 1987. I enjoy my job and the students I teach. I am excited to learn and share 21st century literacy and creativity skills with them.
