Top Ten#702: The Seven Minute Scientist
This blog focuses on improving STEM education, and comes from a biologist and STEM educator at The University of Akron who's taught over 11,000 non-majors biology students and mentored 150 biology grad students). She's written seven laboratory manuals, while working full time, kicking butt as a single mother, and living with Type I diabetes. She loves technology, and uses it to enhance her teaching. It Her mission is to assist other STEM educators in positively impacting their students. As a result, she writes about biology, education, technology, student success, and curriculum development. On occasion, I write about things that don’t fit neatly into those categories.
Her goal is to create insightful, relevant content that you can put to work in your personal and professional life. If you want to use technology in your classroom, or design exciting curriculum for your students — then this blog is for you.
