The author of MzTeachuh, Melanie Link Taylor, is an educator and author in Southern California, credentialed in both General Education and Special Academic Instruction. She has teaching experience in K-12 classrooms, private tutoring, as well as homeschooling her own children. Her areas of expertise include child development, teaching literacy, planning lessons for specific learning styles, and positive support for the struggling learner. She received her B.A. in English, and minor in Art, from Mount St. Mary's College in Los Angeles, and her M.Ed. in Special Education from Chapman University.
