This blog comes from an educator who's been teaching middle school math for 11 years and is a National Board Certified Teacher. She has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University. In 2014 she won the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics Award for Middle School Teaching.
Annie is passionate about giving all students an equitable mathematics education while also addressing their social and emotional learning needs. She not only enjoys teaching crazy middle schoolers, but also loves teaching teachers and takes every opportunity to present to her peers.
