My teaching career started with a coincidence. I wasn’t planning to be a teacher. I only wanted to help one of my previous teachers only for a limited period of time. He had a private institution preparing students for university entrance examinations and I was supposed to be a temporary teacher for only 2 months. It has been 10 years and here I am, a mathematics teacher in a private high school.
What happened during that 2 months? Simply I loved being a teacher. After all those years each lesson in the classroom still brings me joy and excitement. I hope I won’t lose these feelings.
Anyway, back to the topic. Who am I? I’ll try to give short answers to that. I am;
- a mathematics teacher who loves using technology in his lessons
- an amateur photographer
- a collector of old records
- a husband and a father
- most importantly a life long learner
